What is the actual difference between the Mp3 and the Mp4?

mp3: mp3 is an international sound format! almost ....or EVERY music player plays MP3 ! this format only plays music, not VIDEO! it takes less space and gives better quality(i also like AAC)

MP4: MPEG-layer4 or MP4 is another international format of VIDEO! mp4 gives clear video, better sound but takes A LOT OF SPACE(depends of the resolution of the VIDEO)! many mobile's camera records MP4 format VIDEO. (also .avi, 3gp ETC.)

.mp3 = sound (like .wav) mp4 = video and sound (like .avi)

MP3=audio

MP4=video (most media players will support this format)
