I want to be connected both physically and emotionally to my partner. Good sex is important, but it represents a minimal amount of the time spent together in most healthy relationships. I want to be comfortable with the other person at all times...so in addition to a mutual attraction and similar sexual desires we need to have much more in common. I look for humor, trust, good conversation, good quiet time together, and shared interests (though it's not necessary to share all of the same interests we should at least have a healthy respect for the ones that are different).

Mutual respect and understanding that you are two different individuals with a possible different view on things.
Respect the differences and enjoy the being together and share love:lots of it.
And have lots of humor built in.
Laugh at your silly mistakes and accept that too from the person you are with.

I want to be in a relationship with someone who accepts me the way I am, and lets me spoil her, take her places, and just hold her while looking into her eyes, or let's me tell her how beautiful she is all the time.

There aren't enough words to describe what one gets out of a relationship but when you have the right one, you know it.
