LOL....you know what....when certain dudes started saying that I was like whaaaaaaaaat!?! I didnt get it and I looked at them like they were crazy...because it was "whats really good wit ya..." then it turned into hood? which most of em werent even from to be saying that......point is....its typically the same thing as whats up, going on ...anf whats really good....so when someone asks you that just say chillen or nada...or nothing....so so blah blah.....or.....look at em like their crazy so they can one day improve thier vocab....oh yea but to say ""thats hood"" in general...is a more neg bad thing...IE....naked ddue pushin cart..hence ghetto....boarded up family dollar...thats hood...ghetto...bad-neg way...

Jeezy - No, he's not hood anymore. IMO your current status needs to be hood in order to remain qualified as hood (i.e. once you hit a 5 digit income, you're booted from hood status LOL).

The hood is where the evil crumbs that kidnapped my friend took him so they could kill him and cut him up into little pieces for nothing. They pitched his wallet and credit card and ditched his car. It was the worst area of a large metropolitan city. Full of abandoned buildings that are also falling down and where many, many illegal and evil activities take place. To me, that is the hood. They were all white by the way.

My neighborhood.
I fall asleep to the music of gunshots.
The people next door have drugs hanging in the tree between our houses like they're decorating for christmas.
Cops wander the halls of my 3-family building and kick out the prostitutes trying to get warm.
I have to step over an angel dust junkie on my step every morning when I leave for work.
My electricity gets shut off for non-payment frequently.
I know what hood is.

when some one says"thats straight hood" that pretty much means that it only something you can see in the hood or someone from the hood would do.like if a black guy takes a hand ful of ketchup packs puts it in his poket and leaves sayn" in need some ketchup at home" thats straight hood cause how many white guys will you see do that? nun!lol its only something some one from the tuff hood would do!lol
