should i get black ipod video or white ipod video?

The black iPods look cooler and if you don't get a case, dirt won't show up.

This is based on personal taste on color. Both are the same thing in terms of technical specs. Black is my preferred choice because it gets less dirtier.

I went with white as I knew i needed to positioned a canopy on it and the white seems more effective perfect that way. in case you do not plan on using a pores and skin or something, then perchance the black is a thanks to bypass. seems more effective "manly" than the white!
