To gain more power over their own people?
I do, I think they are using the whole subject to create a more sinister 1984 like control over the peoples of both nations and the unjustified war in Iraq

No, I don't. Just look at what happened on 9/11 and then the bomb explosion on the subway system over there. Those were terrorist attacks and they are planning more. If you don't understand the killing mentality of those people by now, I guess you'll never get it until they attack again. Our governments are doing everything they can to keep us safe and free. How do I know? I was in Iraq and I was face to face with the enemy....they are vicious and have no respect at all for human life. BTW, if I wasn't disabled, I would have gone back to Iraq to fight again. These people are dangerous!

No. In light of what happend on 9/11 how can you say they are exaggerating anything? That was beyond what anyone thought would ever happen. The question is what will they come up with next? You can't close the borders, you can't check every cargo and every car that crosses the border so we have to always assume that we have enemies and terrorists among us that are seeking our destruction.

Actually, I think they have seriously downplayed the threats facing the US and UK. If people looked into the matter further and realized what the terrorists are capable of and the lengths they will go to to destroy our way of life, there would be panic in the streets.

No because we only hear about the threats that they tell us. Remember there are threats that we will not know about until years to come.

Remember 9/11 & how you felt that day.

We're certainly doing enough to wind the Muslims up and vice versa.

Yes, although the threat is real they use it to convey peoples minds & justify their ambition of the nanny state
