I'm wanting some floor plans I can look at online or something to help give me ideas for the house I want built, any ideas on where I can find floor plans like this. I want a Mexican Style Hacienda house with the open courtyard in the middle. Any help is appreciated. Gracias!

One excellent source for floor plans, in fact large books of floor plans, is Dover Publications. They have lots of books of historic floor plans, although I confess I have not specifically looked for a hacienda.

Pamie, as a builder I have searched the Internet for floor plans quite often. There will probably not be very many floor plans designed specifically in the style that you prefer, unfortunately. But what I do in cases like this, I try to find a floor plan that fits the criteria that I am after. In your case, you want an open courtyard. Then I can adapt the exterior characteristics to that floor plan and make it into a Mexican style home. Good luck.

You can go t oa Borders or Walden book store. They have hundreds of plan books of every type. You can sit in the store and look thru them all before you buy them.

hacienda means farm but find a builder like Weitz (whites)

You can buy some CD's that you yourself can make one design of your own. 'Architectural Designs'
