Ok, this is obviously your homework...she is maternal towards Adele, deferent to Mary, and sisterly towards Diana.

They are both excellent choices. Charles Dickens is a favorite author of mine as is Charlotte Bronte. It would depend very much on the type of book that interests you. I read Great Expectations as a freshman in high school but I really didn't enjoy the story. Jane Eyre on the other hand was a bit more "romantic" in nature and therefore held my attention a bit more. The choice is yours ultimately. I vote for Jane Erye.

I've never read Jane Eyre...shame on me. But you have got to read Jean Rhys 'Wide Sargasso Sea' whenever you get a chance. Jean Rhys is my favorite author, and 'Wide Sargasso Sea is a spin-off of Jane Eyre.

Verrrry interesting.

sounds like you need some help with your homework, or possibly a take-home test..I read it but don't remember all of those characters, it's been awhile. But hopefully someone can help. I just hope you actually read it, too. Best of luck.
