i personally would take my diary. i barely wrote in it but i try...at least 1-3 times a year. so far i got from 3rd grade till now ^_^. it's my history book!-the story of my life. i wouldn't want to throw that away. i can learn a lot from my past (what i did, how i got along with people, how i felt). you might think i'm foolish but it's more important to me than any valubles.

Wow, I understand where you're coming from. I have a notebook of mathematics that I started when I was 16, (I'm 18 now) and it means more to me than any other physical posession. It is only 120 or 130 pages but still very important to me.

I've had a million nightmares about that, mostly about trying to save my pets. I'm embarrassed by this but I think I'd grab my baby blanket (not counting people/pets). I've had it with me every where I've lived for the past 28 years. Photo albums are a close second though.

Since my hubby woulda had the kids out safely, my mp3 player (since it's got my entire library on it) and probably the computer, and all the cds of my artwork and the kids photos on them.
I know that's more than 1, but they're altogether, so I'd throw them all out the same window very quickly.

;o)
