What would happen if you took a walrus and tried to mate it with a platapus? This is a very serious quetsion for me, for I one day want to make a super speciese of animals to take over the world hahaha. So if anyone has any insits pleas tell me, i can make you an offer you wont refuse.

Unfortunately it would not work.

Walrus's have 32 chromosomes (only 2 which are sex chromosomes like most mammals) and platypus have 10 sex chromosomes on top of all the other chromosomes they have.

So sadly your super animal would not work. Although it would be really cool.

this cross breed is pretty much impossible. It would be equivalent to breeding a cat with a rat. intercourse between the two might be possible but their genes are not compatible and offspring would not result from such an aberration. Finally, the thought of a super species to take over the world is just ridiculous.
