if you love eachother and have good communication then there is no reason for it to end. honesty, and the will to be faithful also play a huge part in all relationships so talk to eachother on regular basis and enjoy eachother. my great aunt was 10 years older then my great uncle and they were married for 40 some years!! and they were happy together. and i have cousins that are 8 to 10 years apart the womans older and they have stayed married too. so it can be done if you both want it!!!
