If you had the power, would you have laws that make it illegal for individuals to masturbate in public? Some people consider public masturbation as a form of artisitc expression and to criminalize it therefore would be equivalent to deny them freedom of expression.

It already is illegal and freedom of expression is not a civil right.

Just a few yrs ago, women couldn't breast feed in public, now look at what's happened. And yes, I do realize there is a difference between Breast-feeding in public and masturbating in public. However, if women are now being allowed to whip out their breast in public (an organ some might and do see as sexual) then how long before masturbation is made legal???? It's closer to becoming a reality than you think.

i think the only time it would be considered artistic is if it were part of a show. the show might be a sex show which some people might want to watch. Although i don't condone it that is the only way it can even be close to acceptable practice. But just whipping it out at McDonald's to relieve a little stress i wholly unacceptable.

Yeah it's true, My father came to visit me in Florida and since there are no beaches where he lives, he asked me to take him to a beach. Since I'm from Florida I rarely ever visit beaches so I just drove East not really knowing where to take him. As soon as we hit water, I parked the car and we grabbed our picnic basket and walked over the pier. I was in utter shock when I saw all the nudity and men laying on towels masturbating. My dad almost had a heart attack!!

I believe public masturbation is illegal, falls under lewd and lascivious conduct and public indecency.

In the U.S.A. in most communities, that would be considered to be public indecency and is therefore already illegal.
Not to mention disgusting.

That is nonsense. In no way is it artistic, but it a personal , Private action that is actually debased. But if persons do vote for that then it can become law. But it would create a health hazard. You may have to have a license to do that.

If it isn't alreay illegal, I would definatly correct that oversight if given the power. I don't want my nine year old daugther having to look at your junk at the McDonald's Playland. Put that li'l thing away...
