Hi all, bought and installed my WoW xpac yesterday and played for about 5.5 hours. I was wondering - did anyone else find the new areas confusing? Maybe it's because I'm out of leveling practice, but I found the process of leveling slow. Anyone have any tips for a newcomer to the Burning Crusade?

To get the WoW xpac, you have to have a copy of the world of warcraft game, then purchase the BC expansion (cost me $50)

the offical response was that it should take as long to level from 60 to 70 as it took to level from 1 to 60. So it will probably feel like it takes alot alot longer. I've heard it bandied about that if you go very hardcore, you can get it done in 10 days of /played time. Keep in mind, that means 240 hours of straight grinding and questing, not 10 days of playing/eating/sleeping.

i've beta tested BC before it came out and I bought it on opening day. the beginner areas are very simple. the quests are insanely easy. by the time you clear the zone (beginner island be it drenai or bloodelf) you should be level 20 and have exaulted reputation for the major city you are in. I got to level 15 in about 1.5 hours.

I was wondering if you have an account for wow do u need to buy the burning crusade or do u just automatically download a patch to get it?

You have to buy the expaion,But i dont know ive never played WOW but maybe its slower becuase theres so many people on right now just wait a week or so and im sure everything will be fixed out.
