who are the malaysians who travelling around the world with bicycle?

-there are 2 people.
-they live at north state(kedah,perlis,penang....)
-i dont know the year but they have their own book telling about their experience.
-their name is state in malaysian book of record.
-please help me, i want to make an article about them to burn up malaysian's spirits.

they are from perak. a port dickson district officer with his brother. i forgot the name. after that he become K kangsar district officer, then become Ipoh mayor, after that I lost track oredi. will edit this if i can get.

The world on a bicycle

EVER wondered what it was like to see the world on a bicycle? Students of the Language House were given a glimpse of the adventures that awaited global travellers when Ipoh mayor Datuk Hasan Nawawi Abdul Rahman presented a talk recently.

The author of Cycling around the world: Land hero, Hasan thrilled more than 200 students with a slideshow of his travels around the world on a bicycle.

The mayor, accompanied by his brother, had cycled through many countries including Thailand, Myanmar, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Iran.

They also visited Turkey, Greece, Italy, France, England, the United States, Japan, South Korea, China, Vietnam, Laos, and Thailand.

His effort has earned the mayor a place in the Malaysian Book of Records.

Besides the talk, there were also performances by two Language House students from Xin Jiang Province in China, featuring a traditional musical instrument, the tambur, as well as a dance.

if i not mistaken, the riders is from perlis, one of them is the cameraman. plus, they made the history between year 1990. Try find the book in the Tuanku Syed PUtra Science School Library bcoz i found the books there too...
