I think of someone who has high highs and low lows...and little in between. I think of someone who is struggling to understand himself and why he feels the way he does.

this is a very serous illness, but some people are misdiagnosed as having it because of other meds mimicking the illness, or it is missed completely. the drug companies are just exploding these illnesses to make profits. that's one reason you hear so much about it. many people with bi polar are creative. but it doesn't mean all people with it are. The mental health industry is a mess. we need to make people first and profit last.

Hard to manage. Can make for a very difficult, sad life. Misunderstood.
