Did any one see the news report, about the little boy, who's mother had died recently. The mother had made the five year old FIVE video tapes for him right before she died. Some one broke into the home he was staying at and STOLE the tapes. It was heart breaking to the core. He lives in ottowa County, Ohio. His tears shredded me to bits. If anyone knows if the tapes have been returned or where I can add to the reward fund please let me know? I can not find a report on the internet news about it.....

Yes it was terrible, He lives in Ottawa Co. in Holland Mi. You can read the story on Mlive.com and the link Grand Rapids Press, (which is our newspaper here). Hospice had started the program of these recordings, which is wonderful, so you can leave your love ones messages and thoughts.

yeah this "taping my time left" its the latest fad for dying people and parents and it makes me sick. KIds have had parents die since the beginning of time, and they handle it ,their lives go on and this taping c r a p might not be a very healthy thing, it could inhibit that process of moving on. this video taping business is ridiculous, is it healthy? does anyone really believe this will this help the grieving and recovery process for children? its BS .. all the way to the grave these are selfish parents and people drowning in their own fear of death and sense of self importance. its a clawing way to ty to hold onto life by dragging the kids all the way to the grave with you. why the h e l l not just make home movies or take pictures for that reason why put this big importance on it all of a sudden ? if you are doing something for your child before you die you are NOT running around with a video camera chronicling your life, YOU ARE LIVING THE TIME YOU HAVE LEFT WITH YOUR KID ,This generation is the MOST selfish and self absorbed and has such an attitude of entitlement it makes me PUKE. maybe those tapes were simply NOT MEANT TO BE.. Higher Power has a way of making things right in whatever way it chooses.

try looking for trhe story on this site newslink.com you will get every tv an news paper web site in the usa there by state. i pray the robber returns the tapes.
