That land has been fought over and taken more than one time in history just like most other lands. In the eyes of some people the US belongs to the Indians, or Mexicans. The state of Hawaii should belong to the natives there. Australia should be returned to the Aborigines. What land is currently run by the same group that had it at the beginning?
The question that really matters is do they have the might as rights have never been what determined who gets the land. I know that sounds cold but it is how the world has always worked.

Considering that it was British controlled territory at the time, and Britain created Israel there, I don't see why you think that it was the Israelis who took the mythical "palestine".
There has never been a country called "palestine". It's a location, sure, like New England is a location, but it's never been a country. It was just a region of TransJordan.
Also, since the Jews had been living there for millenia, having had established Jerusalem millenia ago, having once had a country called Israel ruled by Jewish kings, why would they not have a claim to the land?
Actually, by your logic, since you want to give the traditional Jewish homeland, founded by Jews, to the invading Arab Muslims who conquered them, by your logic, you have to support the European conquest of the savages, if you wish to be intellectually honest and consistent.
I disagree with the sentimental theory that somehow people have a right to a land even if they were forced out of it. That is completely contrary to the history of mankind, and is unsupported by any logic. The Israelis helped push for Israel to be created, and achieved this.
To whine and pule about it 60 years later is foolishness. Grow up, get over it, Israel is there to stay.

Natives are a tiny minority of minorities. There are many tribes. Do you know the phrase "fait accompli"? That's what Israel is. Why don't poor palestinians take advantage of all the potential economic opportunities associated with living in close proximity with prosperous, advanced Israel? Use peaceful means of protest Ghandi style, demand financial compensation for land taken in exchange for lasting peace. Be constructive not assinine terrorist.

Call me a hypocrite, but Israel has that right. And not only that, They were promised by God all of the land between the Euphrates River and the Mediterranean Sea, and they will have it.

Israel won that land by winning four wars against Arab invaders. Can you tell me when "Palestine" existed as an independent country?
