This is a physics question. It depends on the thickness and what type of steel and how it is sealed - most would break.

Yes it would surely break "IF" there is no room at the top for the water to expand . Water is powerful when frozen and breaks concrete or glass etc when frozen . Try putting a can of coke in the freezer or a bottle of water .

Yes, the water expanding as it freezes would break the box, even of the hardest steel.

Yes.

When water turns to ice it expands. Either the box would be so strong that the water couldn't expand (and wouldn't turn to ice - so not frozen) or it would rip apart.

yep!
kinda like if you set off a firecracker on the floor and it just bangs pathetically, but if you put it in something, like an apple, the apple gets blown to little bits....

i'm really not a psycho, just mis-spent youth!

no! water contracts when it freezes (to make a solid all the atoms and stuff have to squeeze up together!) - but if somehow you turned the water to gas inside an air tight box something is gonna happen.

i dont know, what i also dont know is why you put this question in the psychology category, surely its a science question, not anything to do with your mind!
