i personally think problems weaken a relation no matter what people think it does create conflics between the couple unless are simple things like who is taking the kids to school but cheating and abuse are not easy problems to correct****

Depends on what he did after you supposedly provoked him. If he did something like cheat or hit you, then he's being really pathetic in trying to blame you for his actions. Now, if it's just a petty argument that you two will forget about later, you can say, "ya, so what if I did? (insert amusing profanity here)"

It might be another hurdle, but physical contact such as hitting isn't a good sign. Maybe counseling would help. Good luck.

The only true way I feel a woman can provoke a man is if she hits him first, then I believe she should have kept her hand to herself and he wouldn't have had to retaliate, but otherwise he had no business putting his hands on you!!

in his sleep i would put crazy glue on his thigh andlay his little penis on to of it- and say sorryhoney you provoked me.

i used to work in an er- and had a patient come in with his appendage glued hard and fast- and his wife told the ambulance driver he was cheating so i wanted him to be belly up in all way got him excited said wait let me get a condown and grabbed the crazy glue. very painful and oh so fun to watch him writh in pain as we has to use acetone for hours to get off.

remeber he provoked you and if he called the cops all you'd have to do was say you were glueing on your fake nails and the glus slipped.

a good man would not let his anger rule his fist. he needs counseling, and both of you need to get to a relationship counselor ASAP. violence is never healthy, and i hope children are not in the home when this hitting is occuring.

when he blames you for hitting you, tell him it will be his fault when you leave him.

That may be true, yet you are still responsible for your actions, not me. You can choose to walk away, or make many other choices that are non-violent and/or not verbally abusive.

If you are unable to control your reactions to me, then I will have to no longer see you, period.
