Someone you can count on to be there with you when things are good...and to be there when you're getting in trouble. A true test of a best friend...even after you've grown up, and your lives become consumed w/ marriage, kids, careers and you may not even talk to one another for a while, you still come together like the two of you were never separated.
I haven't seen my best friend in 3 years but when we chat on the phone we gab like we when we were kids. And when we get together we act like we did when we were kids. We've been best friends since the 4th grade (damn near 30 years!!!) Thick as thieves.
They are also the person who is always in your best life stories. Funny things you tell people today about your past usually involve this person.

There could be millions of "definitions" for what a "best friend" is. For some it could even be their pet, parent , spouse, or themselves. Only you can decide what a best friend is for you. But the best parts of a friendship aren't always what that person is to you, but what you are to them in return. The best of the best, will endure through time, {and for me are the most meaningful.] and not just when you need them the most, but when they need you too. The best friend is the friend you are, and the ones or one who appreciates that it itself. Being your own best friend is the place to start in truly learning what it takes to define and be a best friend.

This is my definition. You can tell this person anything. The friend might think you are making a big mistake and in fact, will tell you so. The friend remains your friend and supports you through good and bad times. The friend keeps your secrets and defends you to others.
In my life, I have found very few of these best friends. I think one is blessed to have one such friend. If you have one or more you are very blessed indeed. You will support the friend as she or he does you.

To be honest, there ain't a definition cos ur best friend could turn out to be ur worst enemy. Bec they know u too well, dat's where they can attack u at the weakest. Never let in ur secrets to them cos they'll use against u next time.

I think a best friend comes to us very rarely but is a very prcious gift of God. He helps you in all the ways he can, understands you, stands by you in every problem and keeps your all the secrets till him and faces the problems that comes to you first.
