Depends on how much you have smoked and what kind of cannabis you smoke. I've smoked cannabis for over 15 years, I am currently working as a training manager who has to give regular talks and seminars to trainees and other manager and i have never had any problem with communication. So if you feel unsure about it, give it up because its all how about how strong your mind is, if you feel that you cannot cope then it would be advisable to quit before something serious happens.

Heres what i found for you online
If you use cannabis regularly and are depressed, try stopping it to see if that makes you feel better. If you take cannabis with antidepressants, they can produce similar side effects so be careful. Do not take cannabis with TCAs because this increases the risk of tachycardia and other side effects such as confusion, restlessness, mood swings and hallucinations. There has not been any proper research on taking cannabis with SSRI antidepressants. However, the limited information available suggests that SSRIs may be a safer choice of antidepressant if you regularly use cannabis. Speak to your doctor. Do not take cannabis with MAOIs or newer antidepressants.
If you take alot of it then its sure to cause you some sort of communication difficluties. My friend used to take it and he become quite paranoid about himself which inturn effected the way he behaved and talked

I've never had the problem!
I only smoke an occasional joint at night to relax me before bed though!
It's called Dope for good reason and people I know do become very lethargic and uncommunicative. Heavy users usually!
It may not cause the social behaviour problems that Alcohol does but it is just as dangerous to health and well-being.
I see it used medically (Legally prescribed) every day at work and for the right purpose like other drugs it is effective but the side effects have to be closely monitored. It was at one time prescribed for many conditions so the effects are well documented.
It's especially dangerous in the young (not being ageist It's fact) and can cause mild to very severe mental problems. If it makes you feel even slightly paranoid STOP using it.

You didn't really specify your 'communication problem'. If one person is a heavy smoker and the other one isn't, then yes you will have communication problems. You will also start forgetting things and become very absentminded. I used to be a heavy smoker with my ex when I was in my twenties, and the only thing you want to do is lie around and get high. It saps your energy and your motivation, and is psychologically addictive. I have nothing against someone having one every now and then, just like I have nothing against someone having a drink every now and then, but it can take over your life if you don't watch it!

For some maybe it does. Personally, I've been smoking it for over 10 years and I believe I can still communicate effectively which is more than I can say for the majority of morons on this site who cannot spell or construct proper sentences.

NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! the only negative affects marijuana will have are short term memory loss, which can be recovered by not smoking it for a while, and it causes some build up in your throat. ive been smoking every day for a year and a half and i have a 3.2 gpa in school and absolutely no problem communicating with you.

Heavy marijuana use impairs a person's ability to form memories, recall events (see Marijuana, Memory, and the Hippocampus), and shift attention from one thing to another.8,33 THC also disrupts coordination and balance by binding to receptors in the cerebellum and basal ganglia, parts of the brain that regulate balance, posture, coordination of movement, and reaction time.11 Through its effects on the brain and body, marijuana intoxication can cause accidents. Studies show that approximately 6 to 11 percent of fatal accident victims test positive for THC. In many of these cases, alcohol is detected as well.

yes it does and it can also cause other side effects too...
as well as the risk of nicotine addiction, the deep inhalation associated with cannabis smoking affects the lungs and can lead to cancer and other smoking-related diseases... its use also affects short-term memory, the ability to concentrate, and co-ordination, all of which could increase the risk of accidents so it's extremely dangerous to drive a car, ride a bike or operate machinery if you are stoned... its use can also make you feel paranoid or anxious, dizzy or sick especially if you drink alcohol when you're using

Recent study has strongly linked prolonged cannabis use with mental disorders as well as loss of short term memory.
