Neither orbit is a perfect circle, they are both ellipses, so ...

It depends on wheher the moon is at apogee or perigee (or somewhere inbetween) and whether the earth is at aphelion or perihellon (or somewhere inbetween).

The Sun is approx 400 times as large in diameter and at 400 tlmes the distance but it does vary a bit, with the effect that some solar eclipses are not total but annular (the moon is too small to cover up the sun totally).

SUN:

Mean diameter 1.392×10^6 km
Mean distance from Earth 149.6×10^6 km
Aphelion distance: 152,097,701 km
Perihelion distance: 147,098,074 km

MOON:
Mean diameter 3,474 kilometres
Perigee: 363,104 km
Apogee: 405,696 km
Mean distance from Earth: 384,399 km

Ratio of Sun's Diameter to Moon's Diameter: 400.69: 1 (that never changes)

Ratio of Sun's Mean Distance: Moon's Mean Distance: 389.177: 1 (Sun looks a little bit bigger)

Ratio of Sun's Distance at perihelion to Moon's distance at apogee: 362.581: 1 (Sun looks quite a bit bigger)

Ratio of Sun's Distance at aphelion to Moon's distance at perigee: 418.879: 1 (Moon looks a little bit bigger)

So as you can see it varies, and none of the 3 answers is right all the time, therefore.

The Sun is slightly larger as evidenced by the appearance of the corona around an eclipse.

The answer is C in spite of all the other rhetoric. They both take up roughly 1/2 degree in the sky.

The sky is only part of the Galaxy.

You make a Telescope and what do you see is not enough.
So you make a bigger Telescope and what do you see not enough.
So you make a giant Telescope and what do you see not enough.

Its endless..it goes on for ever and ver as the eye can see...it's endless
