Lately, I have been having this dull throbbing ache in my right breast. It's only in the top part, closest to my body. I have no cysts or lumps of any kind and there's nothing else there to indicate any kind of problem (i.e. redness, swelling, etc) I am also 12 weeks pregnant. It doesn't hurt all the time, just once and awhile. It's not painful enough for me to go running to the emergency room, but it IS painful enough to be annoying!

Anyone know what it could be? I've searched the net all over and couldn't find anything except for stuff about cysts and cancer.

Thanks.

could be hormones.they are getting ready to produce milk for the baby.

i have a one year old son, and i know exactly what that annoying little pain is, its call milk ducks.its where being pregnant, your breast are starting to get ready to fill up with milk and trust me its only gonna get worse.your breast will get soar, bigger, and even start leaking milk and the pain will get worse.you may even get to the point that they are so soar, it will hurt toeven move.oh and dont let shower water hit it, they will leak more.but try to enjoy being pregnant while you can cause once they come out they are a handful but a joy to watch.good luck babe!!!!!!!!
