This bike sucks. Its time the indian 2 wheeler market grew up and started looking at things called twin cylinder bikes( at least twin cylinders). What the heck is wrong with these guys manufacturing all single cylinder bikes, and adding parts for the sake of look, without giving any brain for aerodynamics( heard abt that).

Look at the rear shocks, still the same, twin coil dampers. For god's sake bikes should have monoshocks at least after unicorns launch. Look at the same old tyres that pulsar 180 has.

If the intention is to slot this as a race bike, then bajaj better start thinking.

Cos once foreign manufacturers come to india( they have started), these bikes wont even sell in circuses

Well buddy, do get your facts right, Aerodynamics dont mean anything in a bike that will not see the other side of 150 kmph atleast. Below that speeds, almost anything works. And its 220 CC not 250.
The company might have thought of something when giving such a fairing with the bike.
And yes the features that have been incorporated are actually path breaking, looking at the indian biking scene.

And the unicorn is NOT a proper mono-shock. its a mono suspension, so basically the difference is that where u have two springs on the pulsar, you have one on the unicorn. The company brochure also says the same thing, the unicorn has mono suspension, not a mono shock.
I dunno of any foreign bike manufacturers coming to india, except for probably Harley davidson, lookin for a JV with Royal enfield.
The on road price of the pulsar 220 in pune is about 84,000 rs.

Bajaj Pulsar DTS-Fi, a real performer bike from Bajaj. A 250 cc engine, 21 bhp, oilcooled, DTS-FI (Digital Twin Spark Fuel Injection)! It comes with a superb instrument panel which is digital and cool looking handle bar( just like the 3 piece handle we use in modded bikes). The silencer of the new Bajaj Pulsar Dts-fi seems to be a heavy one. The tail lamp is a sporty looking LED (Like the one used in Traffic signals). You can also see a half naked chain assembly. Head lamp assebly seems to be redesigned from scratch by bajaj designers. A Projector Beam Headlamp and Fairing mounted mirrors adds to the sporty look. It seems to have a dual seat and a bold looking rubber/plastic scales over petrol tank extending from the seat. Petrol tank and side panels are shared from the curent generation(petrol tank and side panel gives it a MALE look!). Then it has a rear disc and much bigger wheels! So finally we got a bike with coalescence of power , beauty, economy(since its from bajaj) , and performance. If they price it right, it’ll be the next hit.
