Everything costs more and more...car insurance is out of control...in the 21 years I've been driving I've only made one claim..what a rip off! My cable bill was 20 dollars when I had my first apartment...it now costs me 85..yeah, I have a DVR box and more than just "basic" (no premium channels though)..but damn, basic cable would only be about 20 bucks cheaper!! I can remember when my phone bill was 25 a month and I thought that was high..omg...I cant even get standard phone service for less than 55..I called the phone company and asked them to not allow any collect calls to my number...they told me I would have to pay 4 fricking dollars a month for that "service"...wtfever!!

Everything is going up except wages. Just trying to get a cost of living raise is a joke anymore. Ah, you gotta love corporate greed.

Not really as far as gas prices were in the year 2000 compared to now seeing as they have about doubled, I would have to say no.

those money moochen hounds fill their pockets with pay raises
yet some of us real ppl cant even afford food or health care let alone paying for heat

im a waitress, so i dont get a salary, but making ends meet is not that hard for me.
