You must not have caught 7th grade geography.

Weather = current weather
Climate = long-term weather trend

In a cold climate, you can have warm spells. The northeast U.S. recently had very warm weather for that area -- exactly the opposite of the proposed "Global Cooling" trend some people are pushing. Likewise, the southeast can have very cold periods.

Long-term, the United States has seen a small increase in the average temperature. It'll come slowly, otherwise it would be called "Global Boiling". Weather and climate are two completely different things, and have just as many differences as similarities.

I think he's doing the right thing.

Um because California weather being unseasonably cold is a direct result of Global warming. The ice caps are melting which causes a change in ocean current, because the caps are fresh water, and fresh water is more dense, so it causes the currents to speed up, which in turn effects the weather. Why do you think the East coast have had such mild winters? For the people who don't believe Global warming is such a big deal and doesn't exist, they need to wake up, because it is happening right before our eyes. They estimated that the polar ice caps will be completely gone in about 20 years if we don't do something. That is bad. Global warming can cause many disasters, such as an Ice Age.

One of the problems with the whole Global Warming debate is that the United States and Europe can do everything possible to prevent it but without China and India's cooperation it is a moot point. With the rapid expansion of their economies and the nonexistent environmental laws they are polluting the environment many times over what the United States and Europe are.

It has not something to do with polution. i'm not advocating polution, i'm purely asserting that it is not affecting the enviroment as much as Al Gore has interpreted the information to declare it is. do slightly examine human beings.
