Hello there. Wow.....can I ever identify with you! I have 5 children also but it was with my first child that I had the most severe nausea. I was hospitalized 3 times so that they could re-hydrate me with an IV. I know what you are going through. For me it lasted the entire 9 months, I vomited on the way to the hospital to have him!
Can't say that I found alot that helped me for that pregnancy but I did find some things that really worked for me later on.
The most wonderful thing I found, and it REALLY worked was a lollipop called "Queasy-Pops" and I have never found anything that worked as well. Really. If you can ( and with 4 other children it must be very hard, I remember) try one when you are lying down. Try to relax and think of something pleasant. They come in several flavors but the one that I love (and seemed to work the best for me) is called "Green Tea With Lemon". They are delicious. The minute I put the pop in my mouth I could feel the nausea just melting away, truly! Try to lie quietly until the whole lollipop is gone.
Some of the other flavors are Peppermint, Ginger ( I would recommend that one) Cinnamon, Sour Rasberry, Sour Lemon, Lavender and Papaya. Go to www.queasypop.com I really hope that they will help you. Let me know if they help!
Some of the things I tried before I found the pops was taking Ginger in capsule form. I would ask your doctor how much of it is safe to take. I know I was taking really large doses. The good part was that if you burped, or if they did not work at least the ginger made everything more palatable.
I won't bother you with the crackers and the ginger ale routine, sounds like you have gone that route. Seriously tho, the key is not to let your tummy get totally empty. Nibble on something....anything!
Find SOMETHING that sounds good to you and that will stay down no matter how bizzare it is! I lived on oatmeal with lots of butter and brown sugar on it! I lived on that for months. When I was not nauseated that was what I ate. Also I found that if I did not have to cook the food, if I did not have to prepare it, handle it and smell it as it cooked, I could eat it. That translates to going out to eat alot. I know that is tricky, to say the least with 4 other children. The other option (crazy as it sounds) was TV dinners. There was something about the fact that I did not have to cook anything, nor smell it or touch it, and when it was done I could eat enough of it to actually get some nourishment and it was a variety of things in small amounts...it worked for me. I could not eat the meals I cooked for the kids but I could eat my little tv dinners.
Take care honey.....I don't think I have any tricks other than the ones you have already tried......(salty, crunchy things seemed to taste good to me) just do the best you can and tell yourself that it does have a definite end in sight! Not to mention the precious reward!
Blessings to you and your baby.

Yes it is part of morning sickness, its all part of being pregnant. I dont why they call it morning sickness because I got sick through the whole day, specially in the afternoon. I do get really sick too when I didnt eat anything, so make sure you have something to snack at all times and drink lots of water. Going to the game in a hot day is fine, just wear a hat or umbrella to stay in the shade and drink lots of water of course. If you feel comfortable being in a hot day then that is fine. Enjoy the games and pregnancy.

I had that with both of my girls. Nothing helped my. They can give you some med. I don't know how to spell it but I will try. Phenagrian??? It makes you sleepy so I couldn't take it cause I had to watch my first daughter and work. Mine didn't go away until they were born either. This time is different, I only get sick if I don't eat or first thing in the morning. I hope things get better for you and congrats on your baby.

Im going on week 10 and am just coming out of my morning sickness. I have a cold and have found that not being able to smell anything helps alot!!Try wearing a nose plug... (I know it sounds stupid - but they say that sensitive sense of smell could be a leading cause of morning sickness).
Other than that Preggie Pops are supposed to help alot. They are made specifically for pregnant women who have morning sickness. The links are below - one for UK and the other for USA. Not sure where you live.
Hope you find something!

You could also try ginger tea.
For some reason apples kept my morning sickness at bay. A friend told me about it because it worked for her. Also - don't take your vitamins on an empty stomach - they made me nauseated unless I took them in the middle of a meal.

I'm so sorry you're sick all day! I know how horrible it is. There are medications your doctor can prescribe to alleviate nausea. You might want to schedule an appointment with your OB/gyn, or at the very least you can call their office for advice.
Babycenter.com has LOADS of useful information on this topic.http://www.babycenter.com/refcap/254.html#5
Take care and feel better soon.

I was excatly the same....I tried everything I was told and nothing worked. Finally I talk to my dr and she had to prescribe some medicine for me cause it was just so unbearable and I was starting to lose weight ans really affecting my health...and that helped a lot. My morning sickness disappeared by my 14th-15th week. So, hopefully it'll be the same for you too. Talk to your dr about it.
