Sitting on water on south pole when a seal swimms up to me and starts to complaine about humans and theire lack of care for earth and environment... as the seal was explaining to the details what are we doing wrong, I noticed in the corner of my eye that the penguins are gathering up on the ice floating near by... then one of them came in front of the crowd and pointed out penguins have far more problems than any seal could imagine and then they started to explaine all problems at one voice... that caused my ears to bleed and the seal just laught...

A seal is a trust, a security or promise, a sign of integrity, which we can abuse or use as a power. It depicts the emergence into your conscious life of your deepest instincts and life energies

You must have watched "Happy Feet".

But seriously, to have had that much information in your brain implies one of two things:

- The Earth's plight is of serious concern to you.

or

- You fell asleep watching the Discovery Channel, and your brain processed whatever it heard on TV as a dream.

I'm guessing the former, rather than the latter, so here's what your dream could mean.

You've seen how crazy the weather's been these past few weeks, or you're freaked by how bad things can get if we humans continue down the road we're travelling today, and you feel that something has to be done.

The fact that you had animals talking to you also shows that you're concerned not just for your own species, but the greater good of the whole planet.

To ease your mind, you could try doing something that would help save the Earth. Try cutting down your use of electricity and gas, volunteer or lobby for environmental causes. This should ease your conscience.

Your conscience is, after all, one of the influences of your mind's dreams.

Well, there aren't too many seals at the south pole and I doubt that penguins would make the long trek either. As far as the environmental stuff, you have been reading or learning about the environmental impact of humans on the world and animals in general. You are simply exploring the stuff subconsciously in your dreams.
Bu the way, saels do not laugh.

You are obviously concerned with the condition of our planet.

Not only on the level of your own species, but, the level of those who are unable to speak for themselves regarding the impact that mankind's careless behavior has had upon them.

It would appear that your insights are mainly in the area of global warming and its effects upon our oceans and weather, where the one definitely has a direct effect on the other.

We have all heard mention of global warming for what, maybe seriously for the past decade? Ramifications upon our planet (and all inhabitants) from the failure to reign in this problem are tremendous. I would think that in the past three-five years have there been major studies and scientific statistics available to us regarding this issue.

Changes have taken place worldwide which have drawn attention to this issue and cautioned us about the future of earth if no resolutions are qulickly forthcoming and put into action!

Perhaps this is why the content of your dream; the two aquatic animals explaining their plight to you (in detail) until your ears bled...

The oceans seem to be more of a bullweather for the state of the global warming condition because the effects within them can, and have, caused monumental changes that one does not have to wait decades to witness.

You may have been trying to give those animals a fair amount of 'face time' to tell you all that they wanted to tell you because, in the past, you have not felt as if you have considered the animal kingdom as much as you should have. The bleeding ears could symbolize the pain you feel about the news that you hear/have heard concerning global warming ,or, out of compassion for what the animals had to say to you.

The laughter (OK, we know seals don't laugh - not as we term 'laughter')...but they probably do express humor in some form within their communication system. The laughter could have been aimed at the pain you were experiencing about the conversation (ears) or, it may have been aimed at the penguins for their seemingly heavier load to bear by way of difficulties. Or, they could have been laughing at mankind's obvious stupidity and/or lack of ready solutions to this mess caused by our habitation of the planet.

Since dreams are so symbolic, most of the time, I wouldn't bet my life on what I have stated here. On the other hand, you could have just been reflecting back, that which was taken in by your subconcious, during a late night episode on Animal Planet or the Discovery channel.

Best,
Petra
