What would be the possible opportunities and how can the two be incorporated to use within an occupation?

Would a Finance and Marketing Major be better than a Finance and Economics Major (in terms of salary and employment opportunities)

A double major in business is a good idea, but the question about what 2 areas to combine is a personal choice, and largely depends on what you ultimately want to do.

Finance and Marketing are definitely inter-related, but the departments are separate in most companies, and the jobs are pretty different in nature. But Finance and Economics has much more crossover in terms of terminology, job responsibilities, and skillset.

For example, I got my B.A. in Economics, and my M.B.A. in Finance. Economics is a very broad field, while Finance is more specific.

Marketing and Finance are both pretty specific in nature.

Either way, it's not a bad combo, and they could enhance one another up to a point. Plus, it could give you the flexibility to move more easily between those two fields.

these two majors go hand in hand. the combination offers a wide range of opprotunities for your career. i'm not sure of any specific opprotunities, but you should check out collegeboard.com for help, good luck!
