I put a question on the other day asking people if they were noticing
changes in the environment where they were in the U.S.
and the answer that americans voted as being the best was
appalling.The koalas are burning.
The answer was "Well the environment is changing all the
time" NOT LIKE THIS IT ISN'T.

Well I apologize on behalf of Americans. And yes I have noticed big changes. I live in the Northeast. Seems like we either get no winter or get blasted with snow. Temperatures here keep getting more and more erratic. 60 degrees (farenheit) one day, 10 degrees and blizzard the next. I have also lived in the southwest, and there was an increase of rain in the winter, causing plants to grow. It was beautiful at first with all the flowers blooming but a hotter summer caused enormous amounts of fires from the dried plants. Ive also noticed lately a lot of people around here are staying inside most of the time. Maybe they aren't noticing all of these the subtle and not so subtle permanent changes.

Our environment changes all of the time. Yes, we are burning way too much fuel and it is making additional changes to the already accepted norm. Is there something we can do about it? Will we do something about it? No. Because it takes a collective group not just one person at a time.

It would be nice if car manufacturers would give us a car that used less fuel.....like 200 miles per gallon. That would help out tremendously. But the gas people won't do it and nothing will ever be done.

You'd have more credibility if you weren't using hyperboly..."The koalas are 'burning'"...I'm mean come on!!!

Sure the climate is changing, the question is "why?" That hasn't been proven. And until it is people aren't going to leap off a cliff of economic changes that might turn out to have no impact on the cause of the problem.

Well, if you do believe the earth is warming up, go tell the thousands of people that are hunkered down in emergency shelters in mid US that are freezing to death from the deadly ice storm that has killed 54 people so far.
