With GSM phones, you can also turn on delivery receipts. This displays a message on your handset when the message finally reaches the destination handset

my phone always saying sending message and gave an error if it was not sent.

as far as if someone receives it or not, you do not know that.

there's a a message displayed that says "sending message"
