I have TVS Star City byke March06 model, already done 16000 kms..Last week it was not starting, I took it to the dealer for checkup, he changed the spark plug ignition coil (the small box with three wires running out, one takes the current to the spark plug) but charged me Rs. 700, is it justified??? I think I am befooled. Pls. help.

I think the cost of spares should be covered under the warranty.

I suggest you get your money back first then take it to someone who knows what he is doing .
From what you have described he has replaced all the componentry hoping to solve the problem , but without the knowledge and equipment there is no way he can tell what is wrong, first thing he should have done is check output from the stator which supplies the power to activate the CDI (little box with wires coming out) this is probably your problem and is a warranty job anyway, and they do cause problems.simple testing could have told him which component is faulty without replacing all the parts,very unprofessional
