In other words we want gay marriage, we want abortion, we don't like the laws. We want the ten commandments out of everything, we want God out of the Pledge of Allegiance. We want total freedom, and fairness for all in society, is this the best thing for us?

What's best is the freedom to choose for ourselves. Personally, I think political correctness is the most dangerous attack on personal liberty that has popped up in the last 50 years or so... about as bad as McCarthyism.

first of you are generalizing. Americans were guaranteed certain freedoms. all citizens should be treated equal,as long as there is no laws passed giving any group or individual special treatment. no groupd should tell others how to act or believe by shoving anything down nothers throat. god was never in the original pledge. as far as christmas nativity and ten commandments i'm not worried, they are non-issues. the bans and laws that protect us from ourselves are crazy. once you allow these things, whether you agree with them or not,you run the risk of more bans which take away rights and freedom.

What do you mean by we?

Not all Americans want these things! In fact most Americans don't want these things. The vote polls show this.

As an American, I don't want gay marriage or abortion.

I think the ten commandments are cool and just try to force me not to say "Under God" when stating the Pledge.

Freedom is about the ability to choose.
The things you listed are the removal of impositions. No body wants the Ten commandments out of everything. Just don't use my Tax dollars to put religious materials in my face in a public building.
I don't like abortion but I'm reluctant to deny this someone else, restrict yes, deny no!
I don't want to make a Hindu, or Atheist child Say "Under God" if they don't want to.
I don't care if Gays get married, it's simply none of my business.
Nothing you listed is a loss of freedom they are reversal of impositions of the majority on individuals.
I want to be able to choose!!!
To smoke or not
To wear a seat-belt or not
To do drugs or not
To go to Cuba or not
To say "under God" or not
This is freedom, and it it would be good!

As much as I like Bill ORielly, I think I'm an SP!

We want freedom. the main reasons why we don't have it because the government doesn't want us to have it. The word Freedom is to harsh now these days, If you look back many years we have had no freedom. The people in our world are changing, things are getting weird, everyone wants their way and that is all. But you have to understand that if we had our ways it wouldn't be exciting or there wouldn't be any drama. and the USA has to have Drama to run itself

NO, its not the best thing. There is historical evidence that societies that have lost all moral codes have failed. . The secularists want the end of religion because it gets in their way for a totally lieveral lifestyle with no bounds. Just watch MTV2 or BET and see the moral breakdown, the belittling of females and the endoursement of criminal behavior. There is untold conspicious consumption on the part of some, averace by many and it's all pretty sad. I fear for the fture. of my children

I can not say all the things you listed are what our forefathers fought for but to them i am for ever grateful for our FREEDOM and our right to make our own choices. why do you think everyone wants to come to this country where they are free to say/think what they want without getting their heads lopped off. GOD BLESS AMERICA AND THOSE THAT STAND BESIDE HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND HER PEOPLE. For our brave united Forefathers that gave us such a treasure they are our hero's.Least we forget.

The things we want change over time..but the choice should be ours to make....personal freedoms. You should not dictate my life and I should not dictate yours.
