Leeds were called leeds city in 1908 but due to dodgy dealings and match fixing and all stuff like that the FA kicked the super leeds out of the football league.
Leeds reformed again in 1919 under the new name of "LEEDS UNITED", the rest is history.
Oh by the way, yes i am a massive leeds utd fan,

as a leeds fan myself, why oh why are we doing so bad this season, i dont want to admit it but it looks very much like were going down again. How is this possible after we were so close to promotion last season. It devastates me to see this once great club being disgraced like this. what has happened, is it the sale of hulse. I cant understand how we have gone from semi finals of the champions league and consistent top 5 in premier to being a team on the brink of disaster. Dennis wise, useless. He prattled on about givin us sum fight and gettin us back to how we used to be, but he obvoiusly dosent inspire the players to play well for him. Why are we STILL selling our young stars ( matt killgallon ) and buyin useless has bins. I pray im wrong but it really looks like were going down again. Fan levels will drop further still if we do get relegated, were is it going to end. ANY RICH GUYS OUT THERE PLEASE SAVE US.
