Yes it is legal. A perscription no matter where written is legal. Except if you are perscribed drugs that are illegal and banned in the US.

While you are there, get some Lomotil the diaherrea medicine. Costs about 5 to 7 $US. It is non perscription there but in US you need one. Buy it so you have a supply of it. Comes in handy. Pack it in your suitcases. All will be fine. Remember Montezuma's Revenge.

I will never understand why in US I have to pay a doctor to get this medication when I know what is wrong and know what I need to control it. In US Medicine whether the gvt. or private sector it is all about MONEY, POWER, CONTROL! Seems like so little of it is about helping people anymore.

Yes, but if you have them in you carry on lugage you will be asked to show Dr's orders.
Is better if you keep it in the original containers but put them in the lugage you check in.
