When you're IN love with someone, there will be some sort of sexual attraction.
Think about it, what's the difference between a best friend and a significant other? You care about both of them, you enjoy being being [physically or even mentally] with both of them, they both have your best interests at heart, they're both there for you, etc etc, but only one has your sexual attraction....or at least I hope so...

Love is eternal. You only love someone when you accept the weaknesses and their strengths.Love stays forever
Being in love means you are you are enclosed in a case of perfection. You assume the subject at hand is a perfect being and any mistake and moving away from the line brings negative feelings. The in love feeling is temporary

Being "in love with" is infatuation. It pretends to be altruistic- to be focused on the other person, but it is really self centered. To truly love is to truly care for. It is truly other-centered. Read THE FIVE LOVE LANGUAGES by Gary Chapman. I found it helpful to sort these things out.

The "in love" feeling is what you feel at the beginning of a relationship. You are dreamy and have your rose colored glasses on. After some time, it will transfer into "love" which is more stable.
If you "love" a friend, it will usually be an acceptance and appreciation of them, but without the dreamy "in love" feeling.

You can love someone with ulterior motives or good intentions. It can be platonic or sexual. But in love with someone defintely means the love has sexual motives behind it. It just means you are sexual lovers and nothing else!!!!
