It is not true that always the coaches are from outside India, however it seems to be the mantra for sure as it helps to bring some outside brain and experience and fresh mind into the indian cricket or football or even hockey for that matter . There is no doubt that there is abundance of talent in the retired professionals of India.we may also take the example of tennis where Leander Peas dad was his coach and he was very successful. We are so much focussed on cricket that we refuse to see other sports. Take the example of prakash padukone who coaches the Indian camp in batminton. It is very evident that if we really want sports to be a success we need to try and hire the best of coaches irrespective of his nationality .

We, people from asia, are very much impressed with white skin and consider them something out of the world. We are actually suffering from inferiority complex otherwise there is no lack of talent in our own countries. Likes of Wishwanath, Vengsarkar, Kapil Dev, Ranagunga, De Silva, Wasim and Javed are still there and want to serve their respective countries but our stupid cricket boards have their own vested interests in hiring the foreign coaches. I would very much appreciate if someone could tell me what are the achievements of Gregg Chapell, Bob Woolmer and Tom Moody? Pakistan, India and Sri Lanka were the same teams before as they are now or I would say even worse in case of India.

to be correct it depends on there time and experience and according to me coaches from out of country makes team better positive thinking than from india i mean the communication skill and will power gives to the players best out of them from coaches out of country

If the Coaches are from other leading cricketing country like Chappell. They carry loads of experience. They have all the new methods and techniques of coaching. And they are very shrude in terms of Cricketing Brain.
