It seems as though the Palestinians were taught this. If something doesn't go your way, go bomb someone or something. This mentality didn't go away with all this Palestinian in-fighting. People will try to excuse this away but when truth stares you in the face, these is little you can do or say!

Fatah and Hamas infighting? Sunni and Shiite infighting?
It all just goes to show that muslims can't even get along with themselves let alone anyone else.

To try a simplistic analogy: If a child throws a temper tantrum, and the parent/s give in to what the child wants, it will quickly learn that acting out is the WAY to receive whatever it wants.

Both Fatah and Hamas have been indoctrinated into the belief that their ideology is the only way, and tolerance of others is not acceptable.

Their violence has reaped growing anti-semitism throughout the world. Look at former president Jimmy Carter. Speaking with Al Jazeera he shows no middle ground, just sympathy for Palestine and condemnation for Israel.

Concerning Hamas and Fatah:
...there is a deep-seated strategy of being willing to sacrifice the welfare of the Palestinian population in the fight against each other and Israel. Let them suffer, the activists and gunmen argue, and that suffering will force the West and Israel to ease the pressure and give into their demands without Palestinian concessions.

Solving problems by violence SHOULDN'T work, but if through this violence they get what they want, just like a child they will continue their despicable behavior.

It is the way the middle east is...same in Iraq. They seem fanatical to us but it is their culture...Mothers are proud of their children who marter themselves..These folks are one generation off of the camel. I don't think it will change till the nintendo generation growes up and takes power.
