Although you fail to mention if this has always been the case when you have had intercourse or not, but I will assume so. It sounds as if you could be to large for her, since you stated that you can feel yourself hitting as well. try this, lay on your back with your legs bent and her on top, (this will not allow as deep of penetration and could make it more comfortable for her).
There could be an underlying medical explanation as well such as what has already been mentioned, so a trip to the obgyn might not be a bad idea as well. also mutual masturbation could be a fun alternative to sex.

Basically if you have sex and it hurts her, nex time she has sex she will tense up...therefore what you are hitting is purely her tensed muscles which you will not be able to go through until she is complelty relaxed. The pain is caused as trying to force yourself past the tense muscles creates more tension and more pain. You need to allow her to relax as she is expecting it to hurt now and will keep tensing up...it is called vagimius or something. You need to take things very slow until her muscle relax

Your girlfriend needs to see a gynaecologist coz she might have endometriosis (this could prevent her from falling pregnant) check out the site, it gives very useful information. Good luck

she could have endemetritus (can't spell it properly!!) its where it hurts inside during sex because your womb has dropped - all she needs to do is see her doctor - explain that she has painful intercourse and they will have her checked out and sort her! I find sex painful just before I come on usually - I feel like everything has moved and dropped down - it makes it uncomfortable!

Whatever it is, it's probably best to see a gynaecologist.
Until she sees one, try and refrain from having sex. Try other things, such as watching a movie, sitting back and talking.
My friend, who is a disgusting pervert and really quite strange, advises using fruit, eg watermelon or try coming on her back, he also says.

It's difficult to say what you might be hitting: cervix? ovary? Have you tried being less 'energetic' or a position that reduces depth of penetration? If it continues she really ought to get medical advice in case there is a medical problem.

She may just be bruised so leave her alone! A trip to the docs will be in order if it doesn't go away though. Remember, we are all different sizes in there just like you blokes!

Hmm... sex with you is hurting her somewhere inside... her self-esteem, perhaps? Her self-respect? Her will to live? These are just speculative diagnoses, by the way; I'm not a qualified therapist.
