I assume you are talking about RU 486 or Mifeprex. It is used to abort babies up to 9 weeks gestation.
It must be administered by a trained professional. Your first dose is given to you at the clinic or doctors office. You take another dose 2-6 days later. The pills cause lower abdominal pain, vaginal bleeding, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. Sometimes these symptoms can be severe. You should return to the doctor or clinic two weeks later to make sure that the abortion is complete.
I sincerely hope that you will look at all the options before you take this drastic step. Once you have chosen to end your babies life it is a decision that you will carry with you all of your life. Once you take those pills there is no going back.
Have you had your pregnancy definitely confirmed? Have you talked to someone who can explain all the options that are available to you? Have you talked to the baby's father to see what his feelings are about the baby? If you are indeed pregnant have you looked into other options like adoption?
Do you have someone whose opinion you respect that you can talk to? Please do not try to make this decision on your own. You need the input of people who love you.
I know I have given you a lot more information than your question warranted but I did not know what your situation was and I hoped it might be helpful. Better too much information than not enough.
Take care and feel free to write to me anytime you want, I will write back.
Please take care.
Blessings
Lady Trinity~ BTW, the "Morning After Pill" prevents pregnancy. Ru 486 causes the pregnancy to terminate, big difference.
