i dreamt that my i had just gotten out of the bath and had walked to my room, my ex boyfriend was stood against my wall and started shouting at me because id been seen with someone else, he got louder and louder and i was feeling frightened?????????????????????????????????
this dream really freaked me out because we parted on fairly good terms(he wanted it to end) and during the relationship he was a really nice person so why was he so different in the dream?

The fact that you'd just gotten out of the bath could mean that you were or are seeking to cleanse yourself.
Your ex-boyfriend was standing against a wall, so you felt a certain level of safety, while still being told off by him.
He's telling you off for seeing someone else, and this could be a direct variation of your truest feelings.
All this could simply mean that you feel guilt somehow, and are trying to cope with it. The bath pretty much symbolises you wanting to start afresh, to get rid of your past. You probably don't feel as physically threatened as you do emotionally. My guess is that you parted on good terms, but either felt like you've been unfaithful to him (emotionally, that is) or you started seeing someone else too soon after the two of you split.
The bottom line here is guilt. You may have been faithful and devoted to him, but maybe deep down inside, you haven't found closure, or you still care for him (caring is different from loving him).

Dreams often contain hidden meaning. Obviously this one in particular has 'stayed with you' and could do with further examination.
The fact that you had gotten out of the bath represents cleaning. You feeling cleansed and refreshed and new beginnings.
Is your conscience bothering you about an encounter? Are you feeling that the relationship with the ex is not quite over?
Getting out of the bath suggests that you are trying to move on, wash off the old relationship, and yet you still are entangled with the ex. He still has power to affect your emotions.
The fact that he was in your bedroom too is very telling. This is a personal and private area of your house.
Maybe have a rethink about your ex?

It sounds to me like you still love him and are subconsciously feeling guilty about seeing other men (or thinking about seeing other men) You probably wouldn't have even thought about cheating on him while you were together and if you still love him then a part of your brain still thinks you are together and feels like you are cheating on him.
