A nice poem, perhaphs playing outside with his family or sister, maybe crawling around the house...please help I can't think of anything! 10 points!

Okay... I m gonna try this out... :)

(1.)
As I went a-walking along, long, long,
A-singin' a silly old song, song, song,
The road that I walked was so long, long, long,
And the song that I sung was so long, long, long,
And still I went singing along.

(2.)
This is the way the baby goes:
Clappity clap! Snappity snap!
(Clap hands and snap fingers)

This is the way the baby goes:
Peek-a-boo! I see you!
(Cover eyes with hands, then take them away)

This is the way the baby goes:
Creep, creep, creep, creep.
(Creep fingers along floor -- or baby's tummy!)

This is the way the baby goes:
Sleep, sleep, sleep, sleep.
(Rest head on hands, pretending to sleep)

(3.)
Clap your hands,
One, two, three.
(Clap hands three times.)

Then like this,
Shake 'em free.
(Shake hands loosely in front of body.)

Bending forward, touch your toes,
(Bend down and touch toes.)

Then reach up and touch your nose!
(Stretch arms way up high, then touch nose.)

(4.)
(Child sings:)
Mommy dear, Mommy dear,
Can't find me!

(Parent sings:)
Little boy (girl), little boy (girl)
Where is he (she)?

(Child sings:)
Maybe here, maybe there,
Look and see!

(Parent sings:)
I can't find him (her) anywhere,
Where could he (she) be?

Rabbits, Rabbits 1, 2, 3!
Will you come and play with me?
Camels, Camels 4, 5, 6!
Why do you have a hump like this?
Monkeys, Monkeys 7, 8, 9!
Will you teach me how to climb?
When I have counted up to 10!
The Elephant says, "Start again".
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10!

With my ball, I like to play.
I bounce my ball, I bounce my ball,
I bounce my ball, on each fine day.

With my kite, I like to play.
I fly it high, I fly it high,
I fly it high, on each fine day.

Once I saw a little bird,
Going hop, hop, hop.
So I cried, "Little bird,
Will you stop, stop, stop?"
And I saw going to the window
To say, "How do you do?"
When he shook his little tail,
And away he flew.

What's your biggest blessing? What's your greatest joy?
Mine is sitting watching my daughter and my boy.

They play together sweetly, both outside and in.
He crawls circles 'round her, she tickles his chubby chin.

It sure can be a lot of work to chase him around the house
He can be quick and noisy or as sneaky as a mouse!

And it fills our hands and days to keep him in our sight
but nothing is so sweet as seeing him peacefully sleep at night.

His big sister is such a helper and loves him like no other
our family became richer indeed when we added her little brother.


I don't know, that's off the top of my head. I could do better and be more specific if I had more details.

I wrote this one about my first, but it applies to all my kids. It's about raising little kids, I suppose. This one is about 7 years old now.


my job

running, chasing, jungle gym
soothing, loving, comforting them
cooking, cleaning, bathing you
teasing, urging, and acting too
blowing noses, wiping faces clean
telling stories of things we've heard and seen

laughing, tickling, always with smiles
wrestling, crawling for miles and miles
teaching, learning, worrying too
playdoh, coloring, slimy green goo
that's what we do, it's only a start
but all of these things, they come from the heart
