I LOVE LOVE LOVE this name! I think Harrison Cole sounds very distinguished.

It is a great name for a little boy, but it will grow up with him to adult-hood too.

CONGRATS,
Mom of 5 with another on the way

It's cute...my friend just had a baby and if it was a boy she thought about the name Harrison, but was a bit hesitant b/c she didn't want people to call him HARRY. I have a brother named Harold (named after a grandfather) and we sometimes call him Harry. It's what you prefer.

I think it's perfectly fine to give your child last names as first names, but only if the names actually come from your family, eg, Harrison is your mother's maiden name.

Other than that, it's just a silly trend that does nothing to connect your child to his or her family history, blood connections or tradition.

Little babies grow up into men and women who want to be taken seriously in the world. Giving them a name is a gift that tells them where and who they came from.

Love it! I agree that it is a name which will grow with him. However he may get shortened to Harry...?
