Rishu,
Junk food of any kind is probably not going to hurt the baby, but remember moduration is the key. Yogurts contain a live culture, lunchmeats contain a lot of preservatives, candy, ice cream, etc. contains a lot of negative calories which you don't need. Eat good heathy foods such as fruits, vegatables, lean meats and the occassional graving of what ever, will be fine. Just remember MODERATION IS THE KEY.

Yeah Ice Cream and yoghurts would be good when pregnant, especially if you get the low fat healthy options, some ones like the Skinny Cow range are fat free or virtually fat free!!!

But you sound like me, i am craving all that stuff, so know what you are going through. I would stick to eating the ice cream but also make sure you get enough fibre - cereal, and fresh orange, fruit and veg especially make sure you get your 5 a day.

Good Luck and Try not to worry too much!!!

yogurt is fine.
Beware of ice cream containing egg. Raw or undercooked egg can harm or even kill your unborn baby.
Avoid mayonnaise. It contains raw egg.
Peanuts should be avoided during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Eating them can cause the child to have an allergic reaction to them.
Do not eat processed meat unless you heat it first. Just as eggs, processed meat contains harmful bacteria.

Anything you crave that isn't too spicy or insane should be fine.
Ice creams, yoghurts, etc.. are perfectly fine, but do try to fit in a lot of nutritious foods too, as this will assist a healthy birth, a healthy child, etc.

Icecream and yoghurt is fine. However, better to have it at home so you know that it's been kept at the right temperature and hygenically - you really don't want to get food poisoning now!!
