I noticed a month or so ago that the boards, windows and nails (from the roof) are frosting in the night when its cold. Should I be worried about this or is it normal? I have never noticed it before, we fascia put up last summer could that have something to do with it?

Your attic is frosting because of too much moisture and not enough ventilation. If your attic has proper gable vents and soffitt vents, this will not happen. You may need to install more vents.

If you let this go, in the summertime, you will be "cooking" the shingles off of your roof and lessening the life of your roof in general.

Sounds as if moisture is being trapped in the attic for some reason, which should be a cause for concern.

Putting up new facia would not have any affect by itself, but something must have occurred to start this problem. Check your soffet and roof vents to make sure they are not blocked. Also, check that all venting pipes and hoses running through the attic area in good shape and not leaking. Look for other signs of moisture entering into the attic area, like a roof leak.

You must of stopped up some cracks when you installed the new fascia.

You need more air movement, may have to add more vents.
