Well, because she is lying about treating them, then why don't you suggest that the two of you do all the kids together. Say you are also having a problem getting rid of them and maybe if you do it jointly it might be more successful. That way you can see where she is going wrong and make sure she does her kids properly.

to get rid of these lil pests the whole house ( in your case houses) have to be treated. and then repeated in a few days. it only takes missing one bed couch or car seat to get them started again. you also need to contact the school and let them know its been coming into the school. its the parents that do not know everything that has to be treated that keeps the problem going.. its like you have to leave no stone unturned. all bedding, clothes, hair brushes, stuffed toys, even carpet if the kids lay on it a lot... most people forget to treat the cars.. just keeping the kids away will not work. your kids will be with them at school anyway..

Yep, you can ask her if she's spraying her furniture. Has she washed ALL clothes and bedding(pillows too) in HOT water. My kids brought lice home twice during those elementary years. It was expensive back then too.I'm a x-ray tech, to this day I check out my patients scalps and hair as I push them over to the dept. And I've seen lice a few times over the years.

You could be polite and bring your issues up with her. you might think it is nasty, but if you bring it up to her attention inappropriately then things might get nasty.
Personally, if you confronted me about this issue. and my kids had the nits, I would thank you for the advise. And that only dependant on how you approach me. Be polite and you will succeed!

just tell her that for your kids' protection, you prefer her kids and your kids not play together till the problem is solved. There is no other way to put it to her, she obviously isn't the brighest star in the sky.
