According to Helge Kokeritz "Shakepseare's Names" (the undisputed authority in such matters), the proper pronunciation is YAK-i-moe; the name is always tri-syllabic.

As for the performance of the monologue...

You need to rely here on the convention that Shakespeare is employing; i.e., that of a person speaking at length in a bedchamber with NOBODY WAKING UP. In other words, you don't want to bellow, but you don't need to speak at a whisper either. The sense I get from the speech is of a man who is so thoroughly pleased with the brilliance of his plot that he wants this moment to last as long as possible. He takes his time noticing all the details of the bedchamber, etc., so that he can report them afterwards.

I'd also suggest that there's something just a little TWISTED about the whole business. Guys lurking in the darkness while women sleep is kind of creepy. But, for Iachimo, this is almost like a kind of LOVE...or as close to it as he's likely to get.
