Provided you still have an ovary attached to the remaining fallopian tube and that you have a menstrual cycle and are sexually active, then, yes, you have less chance of falling pregnant, but it's still entirely possible.

Hi kita, It'd take a lot to block r fallopian tubes, such as I had an ectopic pregnancy yrs. ago where the feta's grows inside the one if the fallopian tubes, until it gets so big it erupts into age I was hemorrhaging internally. I was engaged and we went for a pregnancy urine test that CAN'T detect a pregnancy! About 2 months later it burst, went to the hospital and the Dr. said I was an hour near death as blood wasn't coming out, it stayed in getting closer to my heart. Which proves it'll take lots for them to damage, by the way they had to tie up that one that burst. I haven't had those deceases before and are quite common and doubt this is r problem. However, with an "ultra-sound" I believe the Dr. will be able to detect anything; if they're intact, not clogged, and in working order. I hope this helps or learnt a bit, by the way while you're there you might want him to give u a check-up, ovaries, blood work etc. I Wish you Well Dr. Visit, and All Your Endeavours! Diana D

It is my understanding that with one fallopian tube intact, yes you can still get pregnant. You will only ovulate every other month ( i THINK) so the odds arent AS good. But still if the other is in good working order then yes, you can get pregnant. The health of the other fallopian tube can be determined by your doctor.

Yes it is possible you only need an egg from one ovary and it only needs to travel down one fallopian tube and implant itself into the womb

I have a damaged fallopian tube due to a tubal pregnancy(doesn't work anymore due to scar tissue) when I was 18...I am now 34 and have a ten yr old son. It lessens your odds obviously...but it does not mean you cant have children.
PS TDCWH ....She is referring to a spontaneous abortion due to a tubal pregnancy. don't be so judgmental especially if you don't know the facts.

Yes, conception is possible. I lost my left tube due to an ectopic pregnancy and now am 20 weeks pregnant. :) It may take a little longer to conceive though.

yes, it does mean that you are only going to ovulate every other month though, so there are only limited times you can concieve, try a home ovulation kit to let you know when your fertile times are.

Bs_Kala,
Remember there is always a price to pay for all your wrongs and perhaps this is a good lesson to pass on to your friends. The answer to your question though is yes.
Abortion is always wrong.
