I dont really understand what USA is doing in Iraq. I thought it was to stop bloodshed but there seems to be more now than there ever was before. So many innocent people have died on all sides - its very sad. The excuse was that there were weapons of mass destruction? Werent any weapons provided by the Americans in the first place? There were none found were there? I feel ashamed that Tony Blair has dragged the UK into this war. Most people are against it. It doesnt seem to have served any purpose. I am not an expert on this matter but so far there have been no winners in this war only losers..... God help them all!

I think Bush and company need to be held accountable, for their actions and crimes in this illeagal quagmire, not by a panel of people from the US, but from the countries they are in on the so called war on terror. Hold the trials right in the center of Bagdad. There is no plan to pull out and if one disagrees and has an idea it is shunned and not even considered. I guess this government contractor thing is nothing more than hired murderers and the US militay has to protect them. Black Water is the one to check out they are all former military special forces people for the most part, where do they get their weapons, and are they all legal.

Defeat,What do you mean defeat. It's only just started. They may have lost a few battles but the war on terror will be in our vocabulary for a very long time to come.Terror can be likened to the common cold,There might not be a cure yet but we keep it under control and treat it accordingly.Sorry to disappoint your illusion my friend but your question is the result from an uninformed person.Thank you and goodnight.

U.S. is trapped in Iraq in a no-win situation. You are absolutely right, billions of dollars and thousands of lives are being lost for nothing... the violence only seem to increase day by day.. and my opinion, even if U.S. fills the streets of Iraq with soldiers, the violence will only escalate.. I just do not see a way out for U.S.

It was bound to happen. If the war was started for a just cause, they might have won it. But why bother a country, which was fine, it had issues that eventually could have been solved. Did he seriously needed to kill so many innocent civilians and troops to get OIL???!!?!

Failure to pacify the country perhaps; certainly not a defeat in any way.
