As soon as they reduce their poverty rate from 50% and eliminate the basic human rights issues inherent in the remnants of the caste system. Then they have to act like world leaders, having nukes doesn't make a country a world power.

I think a more accurate question would be if India will EVER be considered a first world country.
I mean, c'mon, India is the only country in the world that still has bubonic plague...
