The thing is none of the housemates know what they are doing..probably..unintentionlly the trio might be bullying Shilpa without realizing it..as for Shilpa not complaining, its because she's not aware of the nasty things they talk about her behind her back!! If the trio had to speak about Shilpa they shouldn't be judgmental i.e. referring everything as 'Indians this and that...' that's not fair on the rest of the Indians and then it turns out to be a racist comments...and if they liked her they would not pick on her or criticize her for even the minutest mistake she does...this does prove they are bullying her...as for Shilpa she keeps saying she'd make an effort to make friendship with them..for that i salute her...!!

I do think Shilpa is a bit spoiled and slightly arrogant, but look at the state of the people that are bullying her? Jealousy of Shilpa is the main reason for all the nastiness, Jade and Danielle jealous because she's naturally pretty while they have to have tit jobs, lipo and severe airbrushing to look decent, and Jo because she is a bit minging, put simply.
They are all far too academically challenged to understand even what day it is, let alone the reactions of the public since they went in.

I was watching BB last night. I hadn't seen it since the eviction on Friday.
As I was watching, Jermaine said to Shilpa it is because you are Indian. If you were white they wouldn't criticise you.
I am sure that Jermaine is playing a much bigger part in this than you give him credit for!
As for Shilpa, I think it comes down to one thing: She has never had to do her own housework, or make her own bed. Obviously she is going to need help to do these things. Not that I want to sound as though I am defending Shilpa, I think Jo needs to understand the background Shilpa has come from. She isn't 'common' like us. She doesn't have to do mundane tasks like housework.
As for pouring the stew down the toilet, that was a bit silly and I think she knew exactly what she was doing as she found it hilariously funny when she went to tell BB what had happened

I think Shilpa is great. Mature and sensible. The others could be jealous of her. The fact that she is Indian has nothing to do with it. She is beautiful and dignified something money will never give Jade, her friends and family.
Some people are the type to mock others. If they were to mock someone else their own race than you would not think that it was racist. I think they simply do not like her as a person.
Too many times people cry racism when it is not IMHO.

Shilpa is a very lucky lady. A few days ago, I had never heard of her.
I look forward to her Holywood career.
My belief is that the English are an easily led sub-culture.
Who else would believe in BB?
I expect to hear soon that the MET Police will be looking for murderers in Midsomer whatsit. Much safer than solving crimes!

There's a difference between general banter where no-one feels threatened and what you can show on TV. One person's bit of fun is another person's racist bullying. Shilpa doesn't seem too bothered - it's all part of the humiliation of being on Big Brother. However, if people viewing are likely to be offended by it, it shouldn't be shown.

I don't think its racism at all, i do think Big Brother is probably welcoming all the coverage and rubbing there hands, with countless TV shows talking about this alleged racism.
Also last week i heard Jermaine whisper to Shilpa that Jackiey was 'white trash', i dont recall an uproar about that remark.

I think the three girls are evil, but i also think Shipla is enjoying the attention from the others she is getting. She can be very sly looking when she's talking about it, 'why do they do this, why do they talk to me like this??' She's after attention herself and she's getting it. Originally i thought Danielle stood a chance of winning, but Since Jade has gone into the house, Danielle has completely changed. A classic case of girls being 'inflenced' by others. But i do think Jo is a real big stirrer, she loads the gun, then waits for someone else to fire it!

With equality legislation, all that needs to happen is that someone must be offended by the comments for action to be necessary. The fact that BB have not taken action indicates that they are complicit with the racism. Tricky, especially since 10,000 complaints have been logged.

The bullying is bad.
It is so reflective of modern society.
HOWEVER i would not class it as racism. Cultural ignorance maybe, but not racism.
They simply do not like her, not because she is from India, but because she can be irritating. But that is no excuse for the bullying that is going on.
I can not believe that BB producers are allowing it to continue regardless of the public view/opinion.
